Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew has set his new leadership bench the ambitious challenge of selling one in every four properties in the Sunshine State.
Mr Andrew has just announced two key appointments to help elevate the 175-strong office network to the next level.
Industry leader Justin Nickerson has been appointed as Chief Performance Officer for Ray White Queensland and Courtney Martin as the new Growth Manager.
“At the heart of everything we do at Ray White is recruitment, auctions, and performance. That is our mantra and that is how we will get to selling one in every four properties in Queensland,” Mr Andrew said.
“Our team is the perfect balance of energetic, fresh, and experienced. We’re already a dominant auction-focused business with circa 40 per cent market share in Queensland - led by our capable Chief Auctioneer Mitch Peereboom - but we are aiming for more.
“We are not shy about our goals and we will go further together.”
Mr Andrew was excited to once again be working alongside Justin Nickerson.
“Justin is well known and has a very deep industry and network knowledge at a young age. We are building a network for the next 10 to 20 years. To build a business of the future, the first body of work is internally first,” he said.
Formally recognised as the leading auctioneer across Australasia, Justin Nickerson is the only Australian to win the Australasian Auctioneer of the Year three times in the history of the award.
He is also a five-time winner of the REIQ Auctioneer of Year award, again being the only auctioneer in the state to achieve this distinction.
“Ray White has always been the biggest real estate group and I have long admired their business,” Mr Nickerson said.
“Ray White has always been at the forefront of innovation and technology and I am excited to be joining the Queensland corporate team to help its businesses to grow.
“I have a lot of training experience, from sales to leadership, and succession planning.
“I love the family’s values at Ray White, and I am looking forward to working with Jason Andrew in a new era of leadership. I worked for Jason in my formative years and he had a huge impact on me and the growth of my career.”
Justin Nickerson joins Ray White Queensland in late January and will still work with businesses outside of the leading group as well as remaining Director of Apollo Auctions.
Ray White Queensland Chief Auctioneer Mitch Peereboom will also be elevated to a senior leadership role in 2021.
Courtney Martin has been a proud member of the Ray White family since the age of 14, where she began her career as a Saturday and school holiday receptionist for the Buderim office in 2008.
Since then, Ms Martin has held numerous roles, from Sales Associate to corporate Business Development Executive, and was most recently the Marketing Executive at powerhouse office Ray White Double Bay – roles that have provided 13 years of valuable experience in the industry.
“Ray White is in my DNA. My parents opened a Ray White office in 2015, but I had been working for a Ray White office years earlier than that. Re-joining the corporate team feels like coming home,” she said.
“I am a firm believer in their ethos, and the evidence of their results can be seen everywhere.
“Ray White corporate is an energetic, innovative, and entrepreneurial team. We're constantly seeking new approaches, improved efficiencies, and people with extraordinary potential to move the industry forward.
“My aim is to discover the best emerging talent in Queensland's real estate sector and give them the opportunity to reach their true potential with Ray White.”
