Ray White opens in Haberfield

Since 1956, the Musumeci name has been synonymous with real estate and today, three generations later, it continues with the opening of Ray White Haberfield.

With over 60 years of family experience, principal Alfio Musumeci started his personal real estate career in 1982 and has never looked back.

“I love the industry and I certainly love the community we service,” he said.

“Traditionally Haberfield has always attracted new Italians to the area and now there seems be a strong mix of executive couples, young families and singles. The change in demographic is influencing the market.

“Haberfield is a small community and the whole area is heritage listed so developments are not an option. In my experience when people buy here, they don't want to leave.

“My most recent sale was the highest sale this year for Haberfield. It was an unrenovated free standing home for $2.4million,” he said.

Not only is Alfio known for his real estate career, he is also president of the Haberfield Chamber of Commerce, sponsors his local school and on weekends can be seen racing Alfa Romeos.
