Ray White NSW CEO Stephen Nell takes on Rural & Livestock top job for NSW
Ray White NSW residential CEO Stephen Nell has been appointed as the CEO of Ray White Rural and Ray White Livestock in NSW.
Ray White NSW residential CEO Stephen Nell has been appointed as the CEO of Ray White Rural and Ray White Livestock in NSW.
"Effective immediately, Stephen’s leadership comes at a time of significant opportunity and potential growth within Ray White," said Ray White joint-Chairman Paul White.
Stephen comes from a regional town in NSW himself, and still owns property outside of Orange. He has been with Ray White since 1987.
"I've been involved with the livestock industry all my life; my father was a cattle buyer, and my brother is a cattle buyer," said Stephen.
"He is the ideal person to lead the team, with a rounded understanding and passion for the rural and livestock industry," said Paul.
Stephen is confident in the rural and livestock sector and looks forward to taking on his new role.
"I'm excited about all aspects of the rural job; there's more and more interest in rural Australia - we are a food bowl," he said. "And with the amount of enquiry we get from international players, you can't help but be confident."
Stephen also plans to nurture more young people to become involved in agricultural careers, "I want to encourage them to see Ray White as a place where an exciting career may be forged," Stephen said.
The existing rural and livestock team will continue in their current roles, and Stephen will also continue his role as CEO of Ray White NSW, he is looking forward to helping support and grow the Ray White Rural and Livestock business.
Mr White said the Five Freedoms included Freedom from Hunger and Thirst, Freedom from Discomfort, Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease, Freedom to Express Normal Behaviour, and Freedom from Fear and Distress.
