Away from the real estate coalface, Mr Barlow said he was a massive foodie, and enjoyed going to restaurants and cooking classes.
“I only left Australia for the first time five years ago so it's one of my goals to travel overseas at least once a year and of course enjoy the local delicacies,” he said.
“This year we've been to Hawaii and Las Vegas and I'm about to head to Tasmania, which could be classed as overseas, depending on who you talk to. And we’re looking at Bali before Christmas and we're heading to the Cook Islands early next year.
“I'm a passionate Brisbanite and Queenslander. The Broncos are my team followed by anyone else playing out of Brisbane. Then its Queensland in Origin, the Bulls in Sheffield Shield, the Reds in rugby, the Aussies in cricket and the Wallabies for international rugby.”
Ray White New Farm Principals Matt Lancashire and Haesley Cush said they were pleased to welcome an agent of such high calibre to the team.
“You only have to look at Richard’s track record across Brisbane and his results in New Farm and Teneriffe in particular to know he’s the real deal,” Mr Lancashire said.
“His figures for the 2018-19 financial year were excellent and he will be a terrific asset to the wider team as we look to increase our market share.
“Richard holds the number one market share in Teneriffe with 23 per cent and is widely known as the expert agent for the area,” Mr Cush said.
“He has the lowest number of days on market across his core area and is customer focused and passionate about achieving market-leading results for his clients.” |
