Ray White Mooloolaba strengthens leadership team with key appointments
Ray White Mooloolaba has announced two significant appointments as the business positions itself for the Sunshine Coast's transformational decade ahead.
Tiera Butkus has joined the business as Head of Performance and Growth and industry star Kate Stewart appointed as Head of Property Management.
Ray White Mooloolaba director James Goldsworthy said the appointments reflect the evolution of the burgeoning business and ambition to be the market leader across the central Sunshine Coast.
"Our business has been built on the growth of our people internally, but we acknowledge the need to grow externally with the right people joining the mix," Mr Goldsworthy said.
"The appointment of Tiera as Head of Performance and Growth underpins our commitment to attract and develop the best talent. It's such an exciting time to be on the Sunshine Coast – the next five to eight years will transform the region with the Olympics and major infrastructure projects on the horizon."
"Our ambition has always been to be the best in market across the central Sunshine Coast, and to do that you need to have the best people. These two recent appointments back this up."
Tiera Butkus said she was drawn to Ray White Mooloolaba and Kawana because of their fantastic leadership and forward-thinking approach.
“I am excited to be joining the team, helping our people grow and perform at their best, while also identifying and attracting exceptional talent on the Sunshine Coast. With the leadership of James Goldsworthy and Brent Higgins, along with the recent appointment of Kate Stewart, I know our best years are ahead.”
In a major coup for the business, former Head of Property Management for the Ray White Queensland group Kate Stewart has been appointed to lead property management across Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters.
"To have someone of Kate's calibre heading up our property management department is incredible, for our customers and for our people," Mr Goldsworthy said.
"Kate's leadership and deep understanding of property management is industry leading and is aligned with our ambition to have the best property management business in Queensland."
Kate Stewart said she was looking forward to guiding the property management teams across Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters. “I am committed to supporting our people to grow and thrive, while ensuring every client feels valued and well looked after. It’s an exciting opportunity to build on the strong foundations already in place and set the standard as best in market.”
Since opening Ray White Mooloolaba in 2010, principal Brent Higgins has taken great pride in his team's development and growth.
"My role has changed over recent years to become the captain on the field, leading from the front with sales, while James now acts more as the coach," Mr Higgins said.
Ray White Managing Director Dan White said the appointments clearly demonstrate the trajectory of the business and the ambition of its leaders to capitalise on the Sunshine Coast's unprecedented growth period.
"What impresses me most about the Ray White Mooloolaba business is their unwavering commitment to developing people and cultivating strong leadership at every level. James and Brent understand that sustainable growth comes from investing in talent, both nurturing the team they have and strategically bringing in exceptional leaders like Tiera and Kate.
“These appointments demonstrate a mature business that's focused on building leadership depth and creating pathways for their people to excel. It's this kind of forward-thinking approach that sets truly great real estate businesses apart."
