28 degrees and sunny. This weekend was the perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and was a wonderful backdrop for the Amanda Young Foundation’s annual Garden Fete. The event was proudly sponsored by Ray White McGinty & Associates who also gave up their weekends to man the stalls of the event.

“This is the Amanda Young Foundation’s biggest event for the year,” Principal Hazel McGinty explained, “It provided us with an opportunity to engage with our community about the effects of the rare meningococcal disease. Overall, we raised over $30,000 and we are delighted to be able to contribute with not only funds, but our time.”

The fete hosted a range of family fun activities, from raffles to home made scones and a beautiful plant sale that foundation directors, Barry and Lorraine, spend all year cultivating. This was alongside a silent auction for a Ray White yellow bike that raised $350 on its own.

“We are so proud of Ray White McGinty & Associates, not only for their support of Amanda’s Garden Fete, but for their continual work to better their community and help those in need.” Ray White WA CEO, Mark Whiteman said. “To help raise more than $30,000 is a fantastic effort and testament to the hard work and dedication Hazel and the team put in time after time.”
