Ray White & Loan Market celebrated its best performers for the 2018-19 year in front of 410 members and guests at the Crown Perth on Friday night.

Ray White WA CEO Mark Whiteman (pictured above) said the message from the night was clear for the state's biggest real estate group was to keep growing and getting better as the network celebrated its 25th year in the state.

Mr Whiteman said he was extremely proud of all the members. "Our people are really wonderful and our members produced almost 3000 sales worth more than $1.4 billion in sales value in 2018-19 but I know the best is yet to come,” Mr Whiteman said.

"This year was particularly significant with the opening of five new businesses in Kalgoorlie, North Perth, Cottesloe | Mosman Park, Fremantle and Bayswater."

“We are very fortunate to have the calibre of people we have but to be honest, I can't help but feel that the best is yet to come.”

The gala awards saw Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont in the blue chip western suburbs once again take home the prize for top sales office based on the highest settled commission, and principal Vivien Yap was again named as the top principal in 2019 - for the second year in a row since joining the group. She was also named as the number two top principal across all of Ray White internationally. Ms Yap also won the marketing excellence award.

“We had the most challenging year this year and half way through the year I actually didn’t think I would make it through but with the support of my husband, my boys, my team, the corporate team and the White family, we made it,” Ms Yap said.

“I truly do believe that the best is yet to come, not just for me, but for all of us. We have a bright future.”

Ms Yap paid special tribute to Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont’s general manager Lee Fitzgerald for being “the glue who keeps my business together”.

“I receive a lot of motivation from my team and we all train together now at 5am, five days a week so we have the motivation and energy to do more deals. We are a family.”

Elite sales operator Ben Keevers of Ray White North Quays (pictured here) was named as the top sales agent for 2018-19 after a stellar year where he moved to an auction-focused model which resulted in great results for his vendors and a reduction in his days on market.

Long established business Ray White Karratha was again named top property management office by revenue for 2019. This business in the heart of WA’s mining central is famous for having a huge focus on its loyal property investors to achieve maximum financial results.

Hard working sales associate Ankur Bhaseen of Ray White McGinty & Associates Maddington was named the network’s Top Rookie winning the John Seddon Top Rookie Award for 2018-19.

Western Australia’s top award, The Ross Whiteman Award, which recognises the recipient as someone who has made a significant contribution to the White family’s network in WA. This year the award was presented to Tracey Brandner of Ray White Narrogin & Districts. After 10 years in the Royal Australian Navy, Ms Brandner and her family relocated to the Upper Great Southern region and opened her real estate business and has never looked back.

The Top Auction Listing Award for the top office went to Ray White City Residential (Perth), while Andrew Huggins from Ray White Urban Springs Belmont took out the Top Auction Listing individual award for the third year in a row. He was also recently named by REIWA as the top auction agent in the state again too.

Working alongside Loan Market brokers and a network of Ray White offices across the state, the awards recognised the top referrers throughout the network.

The office with the highest amount of referrals was once again Ray White Whiteman & Associates Mirrabooka.

Sue Vuong was named as the Wealth Market WA top referrer for the second year in a row.

The Damien Mills Community Service Award went to Brett and Tania Richardson of Loan Market for their outstanding contribution to the local community.
