With extensive business acumen and local knowledge, Chris Roumanous is set to take the real estate offering in the Saratoga region on the central coast to the next level, since partnering with Australasia’s largest real estate brand to create Ray White RPG.
Mr Roumanous has purchased from existing principal Gabe Vass to set the business on a path of growth and expansion, building upon an already stellar legacy for the office.
Having worked in real estate since teenagehood with his uncle, Ray White veteran principal Tony Roumanous of Ray White Bankstown, Chris Roumanous has had a lengthy and commendable career across multiple functions of real estate.
“I studied property valuation at university and worked for Colliers in sales, before deciding to do something different to the family business of real estate; I started a marketing and graphic design company which allowed me to still work in the sector,” he said.
“I moved up here to Avoca Beach nine years ago and fell in love with the area; the stars aligned when I met Gabe and started discussing aspirations to grow the business.”
Mr Roumanous said that the existing team have created a great legacy and built an excellent reputation in the area, and that he was excited to branch out into new areas.
“Ray White has been part of my life since I was a kid, and even if I didn’t have the family connections, I would not choose another brand to open my business with,” he said.
“The brand recognition and trust from locals in the area is very important to me, as well as the superior technology offered by Ray White.”
Describing Saratoga as a slice of paradise, Mr Roumanous said that not many people know about the beachside town, but when they discover it, they often don’t leave.
“There are only 2,500 dwellings in the three core suburbs that we are operating in, so it is incredibly tightly held and sought after,” he said.
“It is a stunning coastal town; a lot of properties have their own jetties and beautiful water views. The streets are wide, clean and family friendly. It is like one big village.”
Mr Roumanous said that he aims to build a business that offers brilliant technology, speed and efficiency, while still maintaining real and raw communication with clients, and a genuine love for the area.
“We will be looking to recruit more agents in the future, however we want to keep a family business feel and service the community in a personal way.”
Ray White New South Wales CEO Tim Snell congratulated Mr Roumanous on the opening of Ray White RPG.
“We are thrilled that Chris has decided to come back home and join us. He is set to amplify the real estate offering in the Saratoga region, and I am looking forward to seeing what he achieves for his local community,” Mr Snell said.
