An opportunity to gain insight from one of the most renowned business schools in the world was offered to our business owners and leaders recently. Dan White lead the session with almost 40 Ray White and Loan Market Business Owners at The Vines Resort.
The focus of the day was to challenge the participants to think from an alternative perspective, as well as develop their leadership skills. The intensive retreat saw many members out of their comfort zone and engaged in debate with each other like never before.
“I felt really challenged, but also got helpful information to grow, change and improve.” Ray White Principal, Elsie Corby said. This sentiment was repeated by Ray White Carnarvon Principal, Ted Schultz, “The retreat was thought provoking. It made me think outside the square and I was challenged by the thought processes.”
The leadership retreat was centred around two case studies, where participants were required to read, digest and then to consider the merits of different leadership decisions. This formed the basis of energetic debate in the assigned focus groups. After everyone had an opportunity to debate their views on the cases, the real life outcome was shared to reflect upon.
Of the attendees surveyed, 100 percent said they would attend the session again. Even more remarkable, 100 percent also said they would recommend the session to a colleague. Steven McMullen, a Loan Market Franchisee strongly recommended the retreat, “If you plan on growing your business, plan on attending one of these workshops.”
