Ray White Belconnen was named the Medium Agency of the Year at the 2017 Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) awards.
The national accolade reflects the achievements of the Belconnen team and assesses the core business functions of sales performance, training and development, marketing and property management.
“The award recognises the steps we’ve taken to be a great place to work,” says Belconnen principal, Ben Faulks. “We opened seven years ago without a rent roll and I’d never sold a property. We were committed to growing and today, we are one of the largest offices in the ACT.
With a focus on keeping agent productivity at an optimum and the team true to their values, Ben said the Belconnen culture is embedded in the business.
“Our values are what define us. Although some are pretty typical of every business - success and leadership - others are less traditional, such as teamwork, reliability and humility. Our whole team understands that we are a service provider in our community, and we respect that,” he explained.
Ray White’s Chairman, Brian White AO said he was ecstatic with the success of Ben’s business.
“Belconnen’s achievement has been stunning. In my opinion, it deepens the credibility of the REIA awards when offices such as Ben Faulks’ business are so prominently acknowledged and proclaimed the leader that they are. We are extremely proud of Ben’s business,” he said.
With centralised administrative support, Ben has created a process to ensure Ray White Belconnen provide a consistent customer experience.
“The role of each and every person in our business is to focus on relationships rather than transactions,” Ben said.
