BRISBANE real estate leader Dwight Ferguson has passed the torch to top Ray White Ascot agents Damon Warat and Alexander Shean.

Mr Ferguson has been at the helm of the leading Ascot business for 19 years but is now ready to usher in the next generation of real estate leaders. The outgoing Ray White Ascot principal is an institution within the Brisbane real estate industry and said he was proud to be able to hand over the business to Mr Warat and Mr Shean."I am delighted to be handing the reins to two of our top agents and taking the opportunity to step back to focus on what I love, which is helping our clients on their property journey," Mr Ferguson said.“Damon and Alex have shown their ambition and energy, especially over the past two years within a market that has been both challenging and fast-paced. I have no doubt they will be able to take Ray White Ascot to the next level and I look forward to seeing their success."Combined, Mr Warat and Mr Shean bring just over 30 years of real estate experience with them, both coming from real estate families and beginning with Ray White Ascot as rookies under Mr Ferguson.“We are excited to take the next steps in our careers, especially with Dwight staying on in a sales role and continuing to help grow the business,” Mr Warat said.Mr Warat will continue as the lead salesperson in the office, saying “real estate has always been my passion”, while Mr Shean will focus on managing the operations side of the business as well as being a salesperson.“We want to be able to grow and mentor our team so they offer the same level of service and skill that we pride ourselves on,” Mr Shean said.“We want to continue to be known for offering the best service and to help make our customers’ property journeys as stress-free as possible.”The pair said they were proud to continue Mr Ferguson’s legacy with the leading group.“There are a number of reasons why we continue to be loyal to Ray White. We have built our personal brand with Ray White and we feel the group complements us well,” Mr Warat said.

“They offer the best support, technology and training to enable us to do what we do best.”

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew thanked Mr Ferguson for his tenure as principal of Ray White Ascot and congratulated the pair on their new roles.“We are thrilled to see Damon and Alexander take the next steps in their careers with us and in one of our top Brisbane offices,” Mr Andrew said.“Since beginning with Ray White as rookies they have both demonstrated that they are ambitious and innovative leaders who are eager to take the business into the future.“We are excited to see Dwight continuing to do what he loves in his capacity as a salesperson within the business. He is a highly experienced agent with a wealth of experience to offer the next generation.”
