One of only two blocks remaining on the ocean side of Phillip Island is going to auction with a price guide of $440,000 - $460,000.

Marketed through Yvette Tancheff of Ray White Phillip Island, the 585m² block of land at 117 Lantana Road, Cape Woolamai adjoins the foreshore reserve and overlooks the Bass Strait.

“There are only two vacant ocean front blocks of land left in Cape Woolamai. By building a two-storey home on the block you’ll get uninterrupted panoramic views of the Cape Woolamai across to Pyramid Rock.

“The best thing is that the views can never be built out - the only thing between the block of land and the ocean is the foreshore reserve.

“It’s a stunning stretch of coastline - some of the best in Australia,” Yvette explains.

A big tourist destination for Australia, Yvette says the homes in the area are largely holiday homes and expects the buyer of this land will be the same.

“We anticipate interest from Melbourne families or couples who are looking for a weekend getaway. Tens of thousands of people flock here each year particularly around this time because of the Moto GP.

“You can actually see the Grand Prix track from this position - if you’re a Moto GP fan, this could be the perfect block for you!”

The property at 117 Lantana Road will go to auction on 2 November.

“We’re holding the auction onsite on the Melbourne Cup long weekend. A four day weekend always attracts a crowd to Phillip Island so we’re hoping to see a big turnout on the day,” Yvette said.
