IT’S back to business for agents in 2019, with auction volumes slowly on the rise across the country following the Christmas holiday break.

Ray White Group’s total volume of auctions this week is just shy of 45, but this figure will increase considerably by the start of February.

More than 350 Ray White Group auctions are scheduled for the week beginning Monday, January 28, when Ray White Surfers Paradise Group’s mega auction program The Event is on at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast.

Ray White Prestige Gold Coast’s Jackson Paradise is auctioning off more than half a dozen properties at The Event which for the first time will be held on a Monday, taking advantage of the Australia Day long weekend to give prospective buyers more time to view properties

Among Mr Paradise’s hot list of homes going under the hammer is “one of the last remaining original beach shacks in excellent condition”, as part of a liquidation sale.

The 405sq m block (above) is in the heart of Miami at 19 Hythe St, just minutes from the patrolled Miami beachfront, Nobby Beach entertainment precinct, numerous local cafes and restaurants, as well as Pacific Fair, Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads.

Over to Perth where Ray White City Residential’s Brent Compton is busy with in-room auctions of his own, preparing to sell a 1930s character home (above) under the hammer on the evening of Wednesday, January 30.

Location is a huge drawcard for buyers keen on 212 Douglas Ave, Kensington.

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom renovated home is just six minutes from the CBD, and within walking distance of cafes and parks.

In the popular leafy suburb of Garran sits this enormous Canberra home on an elevated 1040sq m block.The enormous six bedroom home at 34 Flanagan St (above) is scheduled to go to auction on Friday, February 1 through Ray White Canberra’s Nicky Symon.Being on the edge of Red Hill Nature Reserve, buyers can walk out a rear gate into green space and go for a wander towards the top of Red Hill, or play 18 holes at the adjoining Federal Golf Course.
On Saturday, February 9, a gorgeous freestanding circa 1910 period home (above) is going to auction in Melbourne through Ray White Carnegie’s Josh Hommelhoff.
