Luxurious beachside living can be found in this huge two-bedroom, two-bathroom modern apartment in Collaroy, featuring a northeast aspect and rare privacy.

Unit 27 16-18 Frazer Street offers a large dining and living area with a study alcove and flowing open plan to the kitchen, enhancing the sense of space.

An ideal north-facing balcony with alfresco entertaining area is accessed via large glass sliding doors, meaning the apartment is bathed in sunlight year-round, according to selling agent Anna van Schie from Ray White Balgowlah.

“The owner doesn’t need to use lights in the living area, even in mid-winter,” she said, adding that the natural light is amplified by the apartment’s neutral colours.

“It also has amazing air flow, capturing all the sea breezes in summer.”

Given the current stock shortages across the northern beaches, van Schie noted that opportunities like this are very rare.

“To see a two-bedroom property of this size and calibre in the current market is quite unusual,” she said, adding that the floorplan is very practical.

Speaking of the bedrooms, van Schie said both are double-sized and have built-ins along with desirable private outlooks onto natural green environments.

“No one is looking in on you and you are looking out on the greenery,” she said.
“The two bathrooms are also a great feature and the master ensuite has a separate bath.”

The unit boasts an oversized 21 square metre lock up garage (LUG) with plenty of excess storage space for bikes and surfboards, while an intercom to both the garage and front gate provides further security.

“It will probably interest first home buyers who love the northern beaches and the location. It is so close to cafes, the beach, the surf and has easy access to the city with express buses,” said van Schie.

“Narrabeen Lakes Primary is just down the street and it’s in the catchment area for Narrabeen Sports High,” she added.

Other features of the property include a New York style laundry with a sink and space for a washer and dryer, a linen storage cupboard, reverse-cycle air conditioning, new carpets and a gas cook kitchen outfitted with SMEG appliances.

The apartment will go to auction 27 August. When asked about the expected selling price, van Schie cited the recent relevant sale of 21/1-5 Collaroy St which sold for $855,000 in April 2016.
