A pair of well-known and experienced real estate professionals have realised the next step in their career, opening a brand new Ray White office in the northern Adelaide suburb of Salisbury.
Justin Irving and Mellanie Borgas both have a wealth of knowledge after working locally in real estate for a combined 17 years. They have most recently been working together at the nearby Ray White Mawson Lakes office.
“We knew that this opportunity was too good to pass us by; there is genuine opportunity and potential for a fantastic Ray White office up here in the north of Adelaide,” Ms Borgas said.
“We have both been entrenched in this community for many years, and we are really looking forward to servicing all real estate needs here,” she said.
Ms Borgas, who will be heading up the property management side of the business, has had 10 years of experience in the industry.
“I always knew that I wanted a career related to houses. Looking for real estate has always been a passion of mine, which is why I decided to go for it, all those years ago,” she said.
Mr Irving, who will be heading up the sales side of the business, had a less conventional entry into the industry. Having always been a publican, owning a local pub in the north of Adelaide, he was inspired by one of his customers.
“One day at work I met Peter Souter, principal of Ray White Gawler, who suggested that I give real estate a go,” Mr Irving said.
The rest is history as in 2015 Justin took up a career in real estate sales, while still owning the pub which has also served him well in building connections across the community in northern Adelaide.
The Salisbury region of Adelaide is around 20km north of the CBD, and is known for its convenient and affordable lifestyle.
“We have a real mix of housing here, and a drawcard is that people can get more for their money,” Mr Irving said.
“It suits families and first home buyers really well, with great public transport and excellent road networks.”
Ms Borgas and Mr Irving will commence their business from the Ray White corporate hub where the Ray White SA/NT corporate team will support them. The initiative has proven to be a very successful business model for ambitious agents who are ready to start their own business.
The pair said that the main goal for their first year of business ownership will be to establish themselves in the community as the go-to for all real estate needs, set up an office in the heart of Salisbury and be an attraction business for their clients as well as real estate professionals.
“We want to become known in the community for our honesty, integrity and the wealth of experience we have in real estate and in life,” Ms Borgas said.
