David Eastway of Ray White Inner West has been voted as the number one agent in Leichhardt by his local community, with a 100 per cent approval rating.
Listed as the number one agent for Leichhardt on ratemyagent.com.au, David says to be voted as the best by his community is far more gratifying than any industry award.
“It’s an amazing feeling to get such positive feedback from my clients. It goes back to hard work and the quality of service provided to the community, and it is immensely rewarding to be recognised by the very people I work with everyday,” he said.
David had a strong start to 2014, being ranked by RP Data as the agent with the largest market share in the entire Inner West area for the first quarter of the year.
“I really saw a boom in the early months of 2014 and had a lot of listings. This, coupled with the strength of the market, saw some impressive sales to start the year.”
Maintaining this momentum throughout the year, Mr Eastway set a new suburb record for Leichhardt two weeks ago, achieving the highest ever residential sale price.
“It was an exceptional circa 1890 Victorian fire station converted into a French Renaissance-inspired home at 27 Malborough Street. As could be expected, competition was strong and we achieved a record sale of $3.050m two weeks ago,” David explains.
As his career goes from strength to strength, David’s ambitions are clear: to stay on top.
“Having put so much time, effort and care into establishing myself in the Inner West marketplace, I’m thrilled the community views me as being the best agent in the area.
“The Inner West is a competitive market and so the challenge now is to continue to find ways to stand out from the pack and keep ahead of the curve.
“I’ll continue to create exceptional experiences for my clients and show more of the community the difference I offer as their real estate agent,” David concludes.
