With technology inevitably changing the way we do things, Ray White Hawthorn have a keen eye on using innovation and technology to give them a boost in Melbourne’s real estate market by holding the very first online real estate auction.
The Hawthorn property will be auctioned traditionally on-site accepting bids from potential buyers and run parallel with an online auction, opening up a world of possibilities for both real estate sellers and buyers.
“Buying a house online may sound a little unusual, however in reality it is an extension of our customary online activities,” said director Errol Stewart.
“Most buyers will find this new way of bidding practical and convenient. Those intimidated by a traditional auction will find much more comfort in bidding online.
“The auction will stream live so people unable to attend can listen online to the progress. All bidding will be visible and updated and all online bids via phones, tablets and computers will be accepted and broadcasted at the auction to ensure that everyone online and present are aware of each and every bid as they happen,” Mr Stewart said.
The auction will be held on-site at 405 Auburn Road, Hawthorn on Saturday 3 August at 11am. Online auctions are carried out by eBidda and bidders will need to register at www.eBidda.com.au prior to the event.
Ray White Hawthorn has unquestionably embraced the challenging task of breaking into the busy Hawthorn real estate market.
