Ray White Williamstown agent and auctioneer Reece Pearson is marketing the multi-million dollar property at 88 Hanmer Street, Williamstown which is set in a peaceful, treelined street surrounded by the area’s most iconic landmarks.

Mr Pearson said it was an opportunity for someone to create their dream home.

“This is an unmissable opportunity,” Mr Pearson said.

The property is going to auction on 5 July with a price guide between $3.5-$3.8 million.

The 935sqm property, once owned by local boat builder Ken Botica, is being sold by his niece Michelle Miller.

Ms Miller said her uncle was known for building dinghies in his large shed at the back of the property, and had passed away several years ago.

While no renovations have been done to the home, Ms Miller said it was on a large parcel of land which was unusual for the area.

“It would suit a developer, or someone who is wanting to build a new home,” Ms Miller said.

“The home is in such a great location, close to shops, trains, and a short distance to the beach.”

Ms Miller said her uncle designed the home, and had even built the lounge room on an angle.

“If you look in the kitchen, it’s like getting into a yacht - he designed it like a yacht,” she said.
