Live Online Bidding Reaches New Heights
Friday 1 April, 2016
Bidding through Ray White Live Online Auctions reached new heights as five rural properties went to auction today in Brisbane, including three grazing properties near Charleville, a lifestyle/equestrian property in the Lockyer Valley, and the “Middlemount Rural Traders” in Middlemount, Central Queensland.
An online bidder for the Middlemount Rural Traders, who was bidding from a helicopter, high above the Barkley Tablelands, was conveying bids to his wife at home over the phone who was bidding online.
“It’s fantastic to see how this new technology is breaking down barriers to auction participation. What a great tool we now have in the bag with online auctions.” said Russell Lindley, one of the listing agents from Ray White Rural Emerald.
Negotiations are continuing and they’re confident of a successful result.
There were around 40 buyers, sellers and agents in the room today, with another 150+ logged in online to view and bid via Ray White Live Online Auctions.
It was another great auction day with strong interest in the room, on the phone, as well as online, with several deals currently under negotiation post auction.
