From left to right: Luke and Josh Packham and Kevin Chokshi.RAY White Cheltenham director Kevin Chokshi has joined forces with former ‘Love Island’ stars Luke and Josh Packham to sell the twin’s House #4 on this season’s ‘The Block: Fans V Faves’.The four bedroom property at 10 Bronte Court, Hampton is being revealed room by room each week on the series and has been listed with a $2.6 million to $2.8 million price guide for auction on November 6.The reality TV stars, best known as intruders on season two of ‘Love Island Australia’, are self-proclaimed rookies when it comes to renovation but lucky for the boys, Mr Chokshi is no stranger to the property market. The Ray White Chairman’s Elite agent started in real estate 10 years ago after moving from India when he was 17 years old with two bags and $2,000. He now runs one of the top Ray White Melbourne auction offices. Not only is Mr Chokshi an experienced salesperson, he is also a seasoned auctioneer after teaching himself the trade by watching videos early in his career. Since then, he has been recognised as Ray White Novice Auctioneer of the Year in 2012 and Ray White Senior Auctioneer of the Year in 2017 and 2018.Mr Chokshi was referred to the Packham twins by an industry contact but he almost missed the call while he was out to dinner on Chapel Street earlier in the year.“I was having dinner on a Saturday night when I saw a missed call from an unknown number. I made a joke about how I’m always on the clock but thought I better check it,” Mr Chokshi said.“The voicemail was from Luke who had seen the application video I had sent in and they said they loved my energy. They showed me around the house and as soon as I saw it, it was love at first sight.”

In the past, Mr Chokshi (pictured above left with Josh Packham) has been asked by friends, family and clients when he will finally be appearing on 'The Block', which he brushed off as wishful thinking.“This is the moment I have been waiting for my entire career and I told Luke and Josh I would do everything physically possible to get top dollar for their property and set a new Block record,” he said.“In previous years, people have asked me ‘when are we going to see you on the Block?’ I always thought that the agents there have had a lot more experience than I have but I’ve got the runs on the board and am on track to top my record year in 2020.”Like the twins, Mr Chokshi also loves pushing boundaries and the Melbourne Bayside real estate expert said from a value standpoint they aligned well.“I’m not one who follows the standard, I’m happy to take risks and back my ideas. I’m super excited, I’ve got some massive plans when the campaign starts,” he said.“The house is not for everyone and I told the boys to take the judges' feedback onboard but stick to their vision. Being different is going to be a huge asset on auction day when all the houses go under the hammer.“Their design philosophy is really bold and I told them to stick to it and don’t let anyone stop you from creating what you want to create. They are making it bold, exciting and I hope to carry that forward to auction day.”Ray White Victoria and Tasmania CEO Stephen Dullens said the whole team are excited to get the Ray White Group behind Luke and Josh’s campaign.“We’re thrilled that Luke and Josh have selected Kevin to run the sales campaign for this year’s season of 'The Block'. Kevin is one of our strongest sales agents and auctioneers and we are sure will do a tremendous job,” Mr Dullens said.“While Kevin will take the lead, with 105 offices in Victoria and more than 700 offices across Australia, Luke and Josh have the whole team behind them to ensure we achieve the best possible result for House #4.”
