More than 100 members of the Leading Ladies of Real Estate community gathered this morning to welcome the sunrise at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast, with a yoga session to kick off a day of conferencing.

The group gathered as part of Ray White’s Connect 2022 conference, the largest in the 120 year history of the company.

Members from all across Australia and New Zealand were reunited, or enjoyed meeting face to face for the first time.

Ray White’s Head of organisational development and passionate member of the Leading Ladies community Natalie Hortz said the session was a brilliant reset in the middle of a busy few days.

“It is wonderful to be able to bring our community together in person after a year of coordinating events across Australia and New Zealand,” she said.

“It is rare having so many of us together in the same place, particularly after the past few years.”

Backed by Australasia’s largest real estate group, the Leading Ladies initiative aims to be the top authority in providing a community for women in the industry.

“Since its conception in 2021, we have hosted a number of online and face-to-face events to kickstart our community,”

“Our reach spans far and wide, with our community extending across metropolitan and regional areas in Australia and NZ,” Ms Hortz said.

“We aim to connect with women of all ages and career stages, across all facets of real estate including sales, property management, operations, business leadership, and other real estate adjacent sectors.”

Domain sponsored the event, providing fresh juices for a post workout recovery and a healthy start to a big day of conferencing.

Belinda Sinclair, National sales director at Domain said the group was thrilled to get behind the initiative.

“We are incredibly proud to be supporting leading ladies and are so passionate about the significant contribution women make in the real estate industry,” Ms Sinclair said.

A few lucky yogis were also rewarded with a brand new yoga mat from Lululemon, and the major prize of a brand new set of activewear.
