Ray White New South Wales has expanded its operations in Sydney’s inner city suburbs, partnering with leading Ultimo and Pyrmont agent Sami Yildiz to open a brand new office, Ray White Pyrmont.
For Mr Yildiz, the new venture marks his long held dream of becoming a principal, and to mentor other young professionals in the industry after 18 years of experience.
“Opening my own real estate office has been heavily on my mind for the past five years, and I knew that Ray White would be the best partner in taking that next step with,” Mr Yildiz said.
“I love the Ray White philosophy, the top tier technology and systems, and of course the brand recognition that comes with being part of Australasia’s largest real estate group.”
My Yildiz kicked off his career straight out of high school, after his Dad suggested that he would make a great real estate agent.
“I was thrown straight in the deep end as a leasing agent and property manager, before quickly transitioning into sales in the small office I was working in. I had to be an all-rounder!” he said.
Mr Yildiz said that he is excited to implement his learnings from working with business owners over the years, and is most excited to recruit more great young sales agents and property managers.
There will be four staff in the office initially, including his younger brother who will take on the rental and property management side of the business.
“For me, real estate is so much more than a game of numbers. I genuinely care about my clients, and will go above and beyond to help them settle into their next stage in life,” he said.
“My favourite part of the job is seeing the smile on my clients face when the hammer goes down at an auction after we achieve a great result for the sellers and buyers - that is absolutely priceless.”
Mr Yildiz said that he prides himself on his buyer work, and that treating everyone with respect has been the major part in him achieving the leading market share in the area.
“Marketing is a passion of mine, but the true results for my business have come from word of mouth referrals,” he said.
Sitting only 2km to the south west of Sydney’s CBD, Pyrmont has always been in hot demand by investors and owner occupiers, with a large market of predominantly apartments.
“Pyrmont is a wonderful suburb for people to base themselves, with varying demographics wanting to live there to be close to the city and enjoy the apartment lifestyle,” Mr Yildiz said.
“We see a lot of downsizers and retirees buying here, after they move from their larger houses further out, into the next stage of life,”
“With Barangaroo and the fish market developments, as well as the metro being built here, we are seeing more and more people flocking here because of the brilliant cafes, restaurants and connectivity to the city,” he said.
Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch embraced the stellar new edition to the group.
“We can’t wait to see what Sami does, with 18 years worth of wisdom to bring to the Pyrmont area and the new team that he will certainly build underneath him,” he said.
“To have an office based in one of the most vibrant and bustling areas of Sydney is exciting, and we know that we have chosen the right team for the job. We are looking forward to seeing what he does for the community,” he said.
