John Fieldus - 25 Years and Counting

Today marks an important milestone for the Ray White Group as we celebrate the impressive career of one of Ray White Gladstone’s golden boys John Fieldus.

Since 1989 John has been an integral part of growing the company's property management business and was named finalist property manager of the year for the Ray White Group in 1996-97. Pivotal to the growth and success of Ray White in Gladstone, over the last 25 years John has helmed a number of Ray White projects ranging from property management to project marketing.

And the secret to his longevity?

“You’ve got to have a genuine love for what you do. You have to make it dynamic and to foster a healthy workplace culture you need to build trust,” John explains.

Ray White Group Chairman Brian White says John’s expertise and experience were essential for Ray White in Gladstone during a time of change in the region.

“John joined the Gladstone office at a critical time when it’s property market was about to change dramatically due to its substantial industrial expansion. John’s work in servicing his clients became critical to front ranking market share,” said Brian.

Ray White QLD CEO Peter Camphin echoed the praise for John’s tremendous work in the Gladstone region saying he has set a precedent for professionalism in regional areas.

“John has been instrumental in one of our most outstanding property management offices. He sets a high standard that is generally not expected in regional communities,” says Peter.

John’s business partner since 2008, Andrew Allen, says John’s longevity and success in the region is testament to his work ethic and genuine character.

“John is an extremely ethical and hardworking long-time Gladstone real estate agent,” Andrew explains.

“He’s loved both in the industry and community, recognised by his peers as dedicated and professional and held in high regard among our competitors.”

“John is also very active in the community and is treasurer for the Gladstone Central Committee on the Ageing, who are responsible for providing low cost housing for the elderly.”

The Gladstone office holds an important pride of place in the Ray White company history as the first franchise office to open.
