Luxury Homes magazine

Before prospective buyers even enter your home, the first thing that they will see is the front of your house from the street.

So it's extremely important to make sure that it's looking spic and span so that it looks attractive to prospective buyers out there.

Lawns

Make your home stand out from all of the other houses for sale by ensuring that your lawns are neatly manicured and well watered to look lush and green.

It can be quite unpleasant turning up to a house only to see that the lawns are overgrown, or patchy with dirt and rubbish - so clear away any junk lying around and make sure you stay on top of mowing them!

Driveway

Oil stains on driveways can be a ghastly sight to see, so try to clean them up as best you can with sugar soap.

If your driveway is gravel, you may want to consider patching up any potholes or bald patches with new road metal.

Windows

Windows are another thing that prospective buyers see from the street - so you might want to keep them clean and mould free.

Leave a window open a tiny bit to let airflow in and remove condensation from the glass. And if your mouldy curtains are hanging visibly then you may want to get them cleaned!
