Ray White Normanville selling agent Jason O’Halloran and principal Scott Wenham are selling the 2557sqm property at 47 Main South Road, Myponga via expressions of interest.

Mr O’Halloran said the property was in the heart of a “little hamlet” and would be an ideal Airbnb or business conversion, or even a housing development.

“It also sits on the main road, and the main road that leads to the ferry ride to Kangaroo Island,” Mr O’Halloran said.

“The area is in ultra-high demand right now. The township is also right on the edge of a reservoir, and super close to the beach, making it a truly unique location.”

There are three buildings on the property, including a big hall with a large commercial-style kitchen, a church in its original condition with solid stone walls, and a small hall with a kitchenette.

Each building is in good condition and offers an ideal opportunity for repurposing or a conversion, he said.

Mr O’Halloran is expecting a large amount of interest in the property which is not heritage listed.

He said potential buyers would no doubt be “dynamic visionaries”.

“Something awesome is going to happen here,” he said.

“The property, which is an hour's drive south of the Adelaide CBD on the stunning Fleurieu Peninsula would appeal to those who can understand the value of the past and the potential of the future.”
