More than 200 people attended the event at the Gold Coast Convention Centre at Broadbeach, with 23 properties offered for sale and 67 registered bidders present.
Ray White Commercial Robina, Ray White Industrial M1 North, Ray White Commercial Southport, Ray White Industrial Gold Coast, Ray White Commercial Coolangatta/Tweed Heads, Ray White Commercial Burleigh and Ray White Commercial Gold Coast had listings at the auction.
Ray White Commercial’s Senior Director for Auctions and Investment Services, Richard Impiombato, said 12 of the 23 properties sold with four other properties close to going under contract.
“The auction has achieved sales on the day of $13.5 million,” he said.
“These combined events involving listings from our Gold Coast commercial offices are becoming more and more popular. We started last year with four events and they have gone from strength to strength.
“We had 67 bidders registered for today’s event and there was keen competition for the offerings with a total of 232 bids.”
Top price from the listings was $4.9 million for a tenanted commercial building at 110 Brisbane Road, Labrador, marketed by Ray White Commercial Southport’s Martin Trautmann, which sold prior to auction.
The top price under the hammer was $2.905 million for tenanted commercial buildings at 16-18 Ashmore Road, Bundall, which were marketed by Ray White Commercial Robina’s Kelly Zeckovic
