Ray White’s elite agent Ashley Weston has sold a renovated Seaford home after featuring on Network 10’s ‘The Living Room’ for $45,000 over the property’s expected value.
Ranked in the top five across the entire Ray White group nationally, Ashley sold the property to couple Melanie Cooper and AJ Baker in 2014 for $460,000. The pair subsequently spent $35,000 on renovations and sold the property for an unexpected $565,000 the following year, thanks to the efforts of Ashley’s marketing campaign.
As the popularity of renovating continues to grow shows such as The Block and House Rules continue to gain momentum, more and more every day people are taking on projects of their own.
Ashley originally sold the home at 23 Clovelly Parade in Seaford to Melanie and AJ before being sought out again both before and after renovations. The said they will be sticking to Ashley as their selling agent the next time they sell a home.
“ [Ash] was positive in his outlook and I trusted that he would do the right thing by us. He has an easy going nature and a great sense of humour and made the process of selling our house easy,” said [Melanie or AJ?]
Even the new owner of the renovated Frankston home had eyes only for this property.
“I felt that I was respected as a potential buyer and didn't feel I was being taken for a ride. Very fair and honest people. Ultimately, this led me to ignore other opportunities and focus on 23 Clovelly,” he said.
