The 31-year-old defender, who represented Adelaide United, Newcastle Jets, and Perth Glory throughout his professional career, has hung up his professional boots and is now channeling the same discipline and determination that saw him succeed on the pitch into the competitive world of real estate.
Born and raised in Adelaide's Golden Grove, Mr Elsey started playing professionally at just 18 years old and spent 13 years competing at the highest level of Australian football.
Mr Elsey continues to play local league football, and is ready to build a new professional identity in his first career move beyond the game.
“Professional football and real estate both demand discipline, strategy, and performance under pressure,” Mr Elsey said.
“In both fields, success is built on preparation, teamwork, and consistency.
“Coming from a professional sporting background, I have experienced significant rejection and pressure, so I view obstacles as opportunities rather than challenges.
“My primary focus will be mastering contracts and administrative processes, and I look forward to working with the team to learn those systems.”
