WELL KNOWN Albany faces Darren Leslie and Tam Emin are bringing their wealth of real estate experience to the Ray White Group as new business owners of Ray White Albany.

The real estate duo took ownership of the Ray White Albany office on August 10 with Mr Leslie focusing on sales and Ms Emin specialising in property management.

The pair have joined Albany real estate industry icon Graham Walker as well as bringing on another member of Mr Leslie’s prior sales team Rhett Bull.

Mr Leslie brings 11 years of real estate experience to the table and has recorded the largest amount of property sales in Albany for the last eight years according to industry data. Mr Bull has been part of the Leslie sales team for the past two years with Mr Leslie saying they work as a very successful and formidable team.

Ms Emin also brings extensive experience to the team after 17 years of working in property management and recently heading one of the largest property portfolios in Albany.

The new Ray White Albany business owners wanted to join a real estate group that coupled large agency capabilities with family values with Mr Leslie saying Ray White was an obvious choice.

“Obviously the group itself is highly visible and has fantastic systems and vast marketing resources, something very important to us both,” he said.

“Everyone in Albany is very aware of the existing Ray White Albany business which also features the largest and most visible office in town.

“We just felt like we could offer a lot with our experience and marketing know-how.”

However, Mr Leslie said he wants the people of Albany to know that while they are now representing a different agency they are still offering the same exceptional service residents have come to expect.

“Consumers want someone who is professional, competent and likeable and that’s the key and what we strive for everyday,” the Albany owner said.

“Real estate agents are very good at complicating things but when you boil it down, real estate should flow and be stress free and that’s what we want to convey to our clients.”

Mr Leslie also acknowledged Mr Walker’s role in building a successful business over the past 40 years.

“He has a fantastic reputation in town and will still be a part of the business in a sales role, we are looking forward to working with his many loyal clients” he said.

“The office has a great history and has been run well for many years and we are very thankful for the opportunity to take over the business and put it on its path to a new chapter.”

Ray White Western Australia CEO Mark Whiteman welcomed Mr Leslie and Ms Emin to the Ray White family.

“We are fortunate to have a strong presence in the Great Southern region and when we add Darren, Rhett and Tam to that, we can only be excited about the future of Ray White in Albany,” Mr Whiteman said.
