Ray White Queensland’s number one real estate business has broadened their reach even further into one of the river city’s most sought after inner-northern pockets.

Ray White Clayfield will now be headed up by locally-raised top performing agent Nicholas Given, with the backing of his co-owners Matt Lancashire, Haesley Cush and the Ray White New Farm group.

Mr Given said when the opportunity arose to build a business in the suburb that he grew up in, he knew it would be a nostalgic homecoming for him and his family.

“I am the third-generation of my family in the Clayfield, Hamilton and Ascot community, so we are thrilled to be servicing the real estate needs of the people who we already know and love,” Mr Given said.

After a career in sales and a growing passion for real estate, Nicholas Given made the move into Ray White New Farm 10 years ago, learning from the best in the business and working as Matt Lancashire’s associate for many years.

“Throughout my real estate career, I have always specialised and gravitated towards these inner northern suburbs that I know inside out,” he said.

“Clayfield is a wonderful place to raise a family, standing shoulder to the blue-chip Ascot and Hamilton, but also being the gateway to the well established homes in the northern suburbs of Brisbane,” said the father of two.

The expansion into Clayfield marks the fifth business for Ray White New Farm | Spring Hill | Bulimba | East Brisbane, with New Farm recently being awarded the top office for Ray White Queensland in 2020/21.

“To embark on this new journey with the same people I have been working alongside for 10 years is very exciting, and the mentorship I have received from Matt and Haesley will continue far into the future,” Mr Given said.

Joining Mr Given in the Clayfield office will be his existing team, with administrator Tiarna Fitzgerald and associate Beau Broomfield. Established well-known agents Claudia Rocha and Penny Halliwell have officially joined the new office in Clayfield.

Mr Given is already in discussions with other high-performing agents and new recruits to join his business. The team will also be backed by the some 50 administration, property management and value team members from the collective of offices.

“The key point of difference that I have to offer Clayfield is that I take absolute pride in every property I market, whether it is a small studio apartment or the most expensive home in Brisbane, I won’t leave a stone unturned,” he said.

Haesley Cush said that he was incredibly proud of the expansion into Clayfield, and to have Mr Given heading up the new office.

“Nicholas has been a key part of the success of Ray White New Farm, and this new position is a natural progression for him,” Mr Cush said.

“We genuinely believe that we can go further together when we are in partnership with the right people; similarly to Matt and I owning the New Farm office individually over the years, we made the decision to partner with each other and other outstanding individuals like Nicholas,” Mr Cush said.

Ray White Queensland CEO Jason Andrew said that he was very proud of the expansion into Clayfield and the growth of Nicholas, Haesley and Matt.

“Haesley and Matt are proven performers, and have built an enviable business and reputation right across Brisbane,” Mr Andrew said.

“The next iteration of their business sees them entering into partnerships with proven performers, which Nicholas Given most definitely embodies. The relationship will benefit consumers in the thriving inner north of Brisbane.”
