We ask Ray White Craigieburn Principals Andrew Bellino and Carlo Gargano how they are helping their office through lockdown in Melbourne.

What kinds of things are you doing to keep your agents engaged?

Lots of communication daily, we have team meetings throughout the week via Zoom or Google Meet. Every Friday afternoon we have a casual whole office catch up via Google Meet and have a bit of fun with things like quizzes, cooking classes and team awards.

Why do you think this is important?

It is important that the team know we are there for them during lockdown to support them and keep them motivated and positive.

How have your agents been spending their time e.g. securing listings, setting up auctions for post-lockdown or getting on top of the little things?

The agents have been hitting the phones hard offering updated appraisals to all of our current clients.

Last month we conducted over 700 appraisal updates and already this month we have done close to 200.

The team understands that it is important to keep in touch with the community, not necessarily to discuss real estate but just to say hello and see how they are going and let them know we are here if they need anything.

What is the outlook for your office post-lockdown?

We are looking forward to having a big Spring Auction Spectacular with over 15 properties already booked in to go to online auction once we are out of lockdown.
