By owning the home at 39 Owen Lane, Auchenflower you will literally make history as the custodian of one of the highest performing buildings ever designed on the planet, according to its builder.

You will also never pay a power bill ever again.

The Brisbane-based Solaire Properties team have “stepped up” with their latest project called Vanquish, which is Australia’s first and largest architectural home packed full of sustainable features. In fact it has “passive house certification”, the highest level of performance in a home. A certified passive house means optimal level of comfort achievable in a home with air quality that is cleaner than outside. There's no chemicals in the pool, it's completely freshwater and the house stays pollen-free and clear, maintaining a sublime 23 degrees all year around regardless of the conditions outside.

A certified passive house means optimal level of comfort achievable in a home with air quality that is cleaner than outside. There's no chemicals in the pool, it's completely freshwater and the house stays pollen-free and clear, maintaining a sublime 23 degrees all year around regardless of the conditions outside. Designed by architect Joe Adsett, the Solaire team called the house a “shining beacon of innovation” which will light the way for the future of housing not only here in Australia but around the world. “This new residence can only be considered as pure curated living at its finest. This home is handcrafted and performs with mechanical precision,” said Harley Weston, Managing Director of Solaire Properties.

“The driver behind embarking on our journey to build Vanquish was to lead and inspire change within the building industry, particularly in regards to lasting quality, health and the performance of how homes should be built. The goal was to build a home that presented like a luxury home with all of the modern features yet was embedded with layer upon layer of sustainability considerations, healthy living options and the highest level of building performance the world has to offer. This truly unique home is one of a kind and the product of three years’ worth of detailed research, development and commitment by the Solaire team and our partners.

“We are passionate about providing value for money in the family home and have spared no expense or level of effort in producing the highest standard of finish possible while ensuring true ‘built in’ quality behind the walls, ceilings and floors where others may miss the mark." Ray White New Farm agent Josh Brown said the movement of sustainable living was well and truly underway and this beautifully presented home an example of being fully future proofed and will remain relevant and modern for decades to come. "This is a house unlike any ever built in Australia. The first large-scale passive house designed to live, breathe and perform in Brisbane's glorious subtropical climate,” Mr Brown said. Set among the gorgeous character homes, groomed gardens and iconic views of Brisbane City, this breathtaking five bedroom luxury residence on 454sq m breaks new ground. The property is for sale by an expression of interest which closes on August 14 at 5pm.
