Australia’s largest real estate company, Ray White, opens its doors to the Tarneit community.

After working as a developer and moving to Ray White five years ago as a sales agent, Anil Malik decided the time was right to open his own business.

“I’ve spent the past five years working in the Tarneit area and have developed a strong relationship with the community. When the opportunity came up to open Ray White Tarneit, I decided not to delay - the time is right and it’s the natural next step in my career,” Anil said.

One of Melbourne’s multicultural hubs, Tarneit offers attractive investment opportunities.

“House prices are affordable with a median house price around $375,000. Tarneit is made up of a younger population with 64 per cent of residents under 35. Whilst many of these residents are choosing to rent, the beauty of Tarneit is that when they are ready to buy, it’s the perfect environment for first home buyers,” Anil explains.

New infrastructure and development within the suburb is also boosting Tarneit’s appeal for buyers.

“The new train station in town makes commuting easier and is drawing more people to the area. We’re seeing a lot of young families moving in and we expect the population to keep growing.

“To give you an example of growth in the area. During the period from 2006 to 2011, the population grew from 7,521 to 21,683,” Anil said.

As Anil embarks on his new role as business owner, he says he is confident in his choice of Ray White.

“I started my real estate career with Ray White and I can’t find a better brand to work under. In terms of the technology, support and training resources available, in my opinion, there really is nowhere that offers the same level of service,” Anil said.

The Ray White Group is thrilled that Anil took the step to open his own business.

“Anil has seen huge success as a sales agent within Ray White and I have no doubt that his decision to open in Tarneit will be successful. We look forward to working with Anil to build a strong and sustainable business,” Kristy Bartlett, General Manager of Ray White Victoria said.

For Anil his ambition is clear: to be the best.

“I’ve already started growing my business with three people joining the Tarneit team. I want to be known as the go-to agency in the area. I don’t necessarily want to be the biggest, I just want to offer the best service to my local community,” Anil concludes.
