The Weston Creek property market has received a boost as Ray White unveil their new office.
A subsidiary of the Ray White Canberra Group, the Weston Creek office will be led by long time team member, Karen Coe who will be joined by sales director, Betty Wark. Both will relocate from the Woden office.
“I joined Ray White in 2008 and over the years I have worked in various aspects of the business. When the opportunity came up to take on the Weston Creek office I was thrilled,” said Karen.
Managing Director of Ray White Canberra, Doug O’Mara, saw an opportunity to expand into the Weston Creek market.
“Weston Creek is a promising area for real estate - it’s a growing area with a lot of nearby development. It also made sense with the close proximity to our Woden office,” Karen explains.
Ray White Canberra purchased an existing independent business in Weston Creek, Bertram Ellis.
“Bertram Ellis have been an established real estate agency in Weston Creek for 50 years. They’re an excellent team who have long standing clients within the community and we hope they’ll embrace Ray White.
“We have offered all existing staff team members a job as the ownership changes hands and we hope to continue to grow the team.
“Our ambition is to have two additional full time sales agents on board in 2015,” Karen said.
With the Woden and Weston Creek offices working together, Karen says the collective team will be a force to be reckoned with.
“Although we’re two separate offices, we’ll be working very closely together to achieve the best possible results.”
For the Ray White Group, the expansion into Weston Creek is a welcome addition to the Ray White family.
“Doug O’Mara has grown a hugely successful business in Canberra and we are thrilled the opportunity arose to expand into a new marketplace. We have every confidence that Karen, in her new role as Principal, will continue to grow and thrive and we look for forward to celebrating their future success,” says Stephen Nell,CEO, Ray White NSW.
Karen, Betty and the Ray White Weston Creek team have clear ambitions: to be the best.
“Our goal is to become the number one agency in Weston Creek. Personally I am committed to being named on the Alan White Elite performers list,” Karen said.
