Matt Hurlston leads Ray White Carnegie and Bentleigh with a results-driven mindset and over two decades of hands-on real estate experience in Melbourne’s south east. Originally from country NSW, Matt began his career in Oakleigh in 1997. His early success was no accident—it was built on a tireless work ethic, strong values, and a genuine passion for property and people.
Since opening Ray White Carnegie in 2004, Matt has shaped the office into one of the most respected and top-performing agencies within the Ray White network of over 1,000 offices across Australasia. His leadership focus is simple but powerful: deliver the best customer experience and the best results every time.
Known for his sharp negotiation skills, market insight, and down-to-earth communication, Matt is a trusted advisor to sellers and buyers alike. He brings energy, clarity and confidence to every campaign, whether working directly with clients or calling auctions—something he still enjoys as much as ever.
Matt is also deeply committed to developing his team’s capabilities, ensuring every client benefits from a high-performance, customer-first culture.
Outside of real estate, Matt enjoys travelling with his family, cycling, golf, enduro motorbiking, and escaping to the country when time allows. A good pub meal with great company is never far from the top of his list.
