Jane and her husband Hamish took over the business in 2016 from Lester Wheatley who had owned and managed the business for the prior 39 years. In the office Jane works on reception part time alongside Tanya and also manages the Commercial portfolio with Lester, Hamish and Sam. She loves the interface with customers and clients and believes there is no better way to stay in tune with the everyday happenings of the office. On a personal level, Jane grew up at ‘Quiamong’, a farm located at Conargo just north of Deniliquin. She studied at Sydney University and upon graduating with a degree in Commerce worked for several of Australia’s leading agribusiness, accounting and grain trading companies. Passionate about farming life and country living, Deniliquin became Jane and Hamish’s local town in 2007. Jane and Hamish live on their family farm south west of Deniliquin with their four children - Audrey, James, Winnie and Vivienne.
