I grew up in Port Hedland—a place that’s rough, remote, and not exactly where people expect big dreams to come from. It’s the kind of place that shapes you early. You learn resilience without even realizing it. You learn how to handle heat, distance, and doing things the hard way.
Now I’m 20, and when I look back, it’s kind of crazy how different my life already looks from where it started.
I’m also an American citizen, which has always given me this sense that my life could go beyond just one place—that there’s a bigger world out there waiting. And I think that idea stuck with me.
At one point, I became a snowboard instructor—which, if you think about it, is almost the opposite of where I grew up. From red dirt and extreme heat to snow-covered mountains. That shift alone says a lot about who I am. I didn’t just stay where I started—I stepped into something completely different.
From Port Hedland to the mountains, from where I started to where I’m going next—this is just the beginning of my story.
And I’m ready to see where it takes me.
