General Competition Terms and Conditions
Information on how to enter, together with details of the prize, forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion constitutes deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which prevail over any other promotional materials issued by or on behalf of the Promoter.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.
- The following people are not eligible to enter this promotion:
management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related entities and other agencies, firms or companies associated with this promotion (including suppliers of prizes);
a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in clause 3(a);
persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a promotion previously run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and
persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any promotion previously run by or on behalf of the Promoter.
Promotion commences at 12.00am AEDST on 1 March 2026 and ends at 6:00PM on 31 August 2026.
How to Enter: To enter, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, opt into the draw by scanning the QR code and providing their full name, valid email address, and any other information requested by the Promoter via the entry form.
For our Raise Your Paddle competitions, individuals must, during the Promotional Period, collect and wave their bidder paddle during the auction sequence.The Promoter reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including, without limitation, an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process (including but not limited to providing an invalid email address, whether or not entered incorrectly). Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
- The prize draw will take place at the Ray White Queensland Corporate office in Brisbane, Queensland, and winners will be notified within 24 hours. The Promotion does not involve any rounds in which entrants are eliminated. An entrant will only be ineligible to win a particular prize if they have already been drawn as the winner of a prize of greater value and have only entered the promotion once.
For the Raise Your Paddle competition, the prize draw will take place on the field or court during quarter time and winners will be notified immediately.
For Competition B (Claim Your Door at Nissan Arena), the prize draw will take place at Ray White Queensland Corporate office, Level 26, 111 Eagle Street Brisbane Queensland on Monday 25 May.
Competition C (Championships Competition), the prize draw will take place at Ray White Queensland Corporate office, Level 26, 111 Eagle Street Brisbane Queensland on Monday 7 September 2026.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Prizes:
“Raise Your Paddle” competitions will have a total prize pool valued at $2,000
- The first valid entry drawn in the Prize Draw for Competition B (Claim Your Door at Nissan Arena) will win the ultimate Firebirds game day experience for the final home game of the season on 30 May. This prize valued at $2,250 includes:
Corporate box for up to 9 guests
Antipasto box per person, ice cream at half time, $200 pre filled esky
Winner can deliver the ball at half time
The first valid entry drawn in the Prize Draw for Competition C (Championships Competition) will win a coaching session with a player and head coach Kiri Wills from the Queensland Firebirds valued at $3,000 AUD. This is subject to availability of the player and coaching and must be redeemed between 1 September 2026 and 30 August 2027.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take a prize (or an element of the prize) by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited.
If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is up to $7,250 (inc. GST).
Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
If the prize is unclaimed on the date of the prize draw, a redraw for any unclaimed prize may take place at the same location as the original draw on the next business day, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified by email within two (2) business days of the redraw.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image, and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including any photograph, film, or recording of the same) in any media, for an unlimited period, without remuneration and without further notice, for the purposes of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and promoting any products manufactured, distributed, and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
- Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes, or modifies, or purports to limit, exclude, or modify, the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001 (Cth), or any other consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its officers, employees, and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for:
any personal injury; or
- any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special, or consequential, arising in any way out of:
the promotion;
any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control);
any theft, unauthorised access, or third-party interference;
any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged, or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control;
any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or
use of a prize or attendance at a prize event.
As a condition of accepting a prize, each winner (and their companions, in the case of prizes that include companions) must sign any legal documentation, in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including, without limitation, a legal release and indemnity form.
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, without limitation, agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers, and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter will handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and its Privacy Policy (available at https://www.raywhite.com/conta...). Unless otherwise advised, entrants consent to the Promoter using the information for an indefinite period for promotional, marketing, publicity, research, and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt-out, access, update, or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to applicable regulatory requirements, and will publish the amended Terms and Conditions on its website. Continued participation in the promotion following any such amendment will be deemed acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
