Ray White Group Brand Manager David Williamson said the certification was a welcome step forward for the industry
“Two years ago we told all our key suppliers that reducing our carbon footprint is important to us and an enormous opportunity for our industry to step up.
“We applaud this move by Printforce to introduce carbon neutral print through NoCO2 certification," Mr Williamson said.
Under the certification, emissions associated with the production of eligible print work are measured and negated through verified carbon offsets. For clients, the change requires no additional process and no compromise on quality; brochures, signboards, flyers and other printed marketing materials can now be produced carbon neutral as part of Printforce's standard production workflow.
Printforce CEO Alex Coulson said the certification reflected the company's approach to responsible production.
"We've measured our production emissions, reduced what we can, and offset the rest. Carbon neutral print isn't an add-on for our clients. It's built into the way we operate."
The initiative forms part of Printforce's ongoing commitment to responsible production practices, giving clients a practical way to align their marketing activity with growing sustainability expectations.
Printforce's certification will allow clients to share the message that their print is now certified carbon neutral, with access to vendor-facing content, social media graphics, ACCC-safe messaging templates, presentation materials, and an official imprint that can be applied to any Printforce-produced materials to confirm their carbon neutrality.
The announcement is being launched under the campaign platform FOOTPRINT - Print. Without the carbon footprint. The campaign highlights a simple idea: the print is the same high quality, while the footprint is reduced.
