Ray White Dalkeith | Claremont Principal Vivien Yap said strengthening the leadership team was a deliberate and strategic move as the business looks to its next chapter.

"We have built something exceptional at Ray White Dalkeith Claremont and I am incredibly proud of what this team has achieved," Ms Yap said.

"But great businesses don't stand still. I am focused on strengthening our leadership bench so we have the right people in the right roles to drive this business forward."

Mr Lawley brings more than a decade of experience across frontline sales, auctioneering, high-performance coaching and senior leadership, known for helping real estate professionals and businesses lift performance, strengthen culture and deliver exceptional client outcomes.

"Sam has lived and breathed real estate across every part of the business - sales, auctioneering, coaching, leadership," Ms Yap said. "Just as importantly, he shares our values. He is committed to people, to high performance and to doing things the right way."

Ray White Western Australia CEO Mark Whiteman also welcomed the appointments, describing them as an encouraging sign of a market-leading franchise continuing to invest in its future.

"It's exciting to see the leading franchise in Western Australia reinvesting in its growth and leadership capabilities with this appointment," Mr Whiteman said.

The appointment sees Mr Lawley relocate to Perth from Adelaide. "Opportunities like this don't come along often," he said.

"After meeting the leadership team in Dalkeith Claremont it was a clear alignment in values and vision. Perth also presents an exciting market, and I was ready for a new challenge both professionally and personally."

Mr Lawley said his immediate priority would be listening before acting. "Every successful business has its own strengths and it's important to understand what already works well before looking at opportunities for improvement," he said.

"My first focus is on building strong relationships across the team, understanding the business deeply and ensuring we continue delivering an exceptional experience for both our people and our clients."

Joining Mr Lawley on the leadership team is Jeroen van de Peppel, who brings more than 17 years' experience in the broader property industry, including as Sales Director for WA, SA and NT at Domain and, most recently, as Executive Manager of reiwa.com at REIWA.

Mr van de Peppel's career highlights include negotiating the naming rights for Subiaco Oval during its years as Domain Stadium, a deal that reshaped Domain's presence in the WA market.

"The opportunity to move from supporting the industry to working within it, while joining one of the most successful real estate businesses in Western Australia, is what attracted me to this role," Mr van de Peppel said.

"What excites me most is the opportunity to work alongside high-performing agents. I don't see my role as changing what makes this business great, but building on those strengths and creating even more opportunities for the people within it."

He said the office's high standards, and Ms Yap's clear vision for growth, were what made the move feel right.

"My first priority is to listen and learn," he said.

"Building strong relationships across the team is incredibly important to me. Once that foundation is in place, my focus will be on supporting our people, improving efficiency where appropriate, and helping create the conditions for sustainable growth without losing what already makes the business special."

Looking ahead, Mr van de Peppel said he saw opportunities to further develop the sales team, attract high-performing agents, and make greater use of data and technology to support clients and staff alike.
