Property managers from our Western Australian network descended on Busselton for Propel 2026, Ray White WA’s premier property management event.

With a jam-packed two-day agenda balancing cutting-edge technology, regulation changes and essential leadership strategies, the energy in the room was electric.

The tone for the conference was set immediately by Joe Shannon (pictured above), who opened Day One with his session, Tech Enabled, Human-Led Property Management. Joe cut through the AI hype, delivering a clear message: technology shouldn't isolate us, it should free us up to be more human.

“By automating repetitive admin, property managers can focus on what truly matters, building trust and solving complex client issues,” Joe said.

Building on that forward-looking momentum, Ben White (pictured above) took the stage to map out the Changing Landscape of Property Management, providing a vital macro view of where the industry is heading and how agencies must adapt to stay ahead.

Attendees also received a crucial national update from Zac Snelling on the Make the Move campaign, highlighting the collective effort to elevate the profession and attract fresh clients to their business.

Closing out a massive first day, Kelly Tatlow brought it back to the core of the business with Intentional Relationship Building. “In a tech-driven world, deliberate, authentic connection remains our greatest asset,” Kelly said.

Day Two kicked off with an injection of inspiration from Lauren McPherson (pictured above). Her session, Leadership, With or Without the Title, was a crowd favourite, empowering property managers at every career stage to take ownership, drive culture, and lead from wherever they stand within their agencies.

The event came full circle for its grand finale, with Joe Shannon returning to the stage to deliver a high-octane Goal Setting session. Joe equipped attendees with practical, actionable frameworks to take the massive ideas from the conference and turn them into concrete daily habits back at the office.

Beyond the keynote speakers, the event was grounded in practical excellence. Integral to the two days was the essential CPD training provided by REIWA trainer Emma Gilbert, ensuring every attendee walked away not just inspired, but fully compliant and armed with the latest regulatory updates.

Samantha Fisher, property management BDE for Ray White Western Australia said combined with valuable insights and updates from industry sponsors, attendees were fully equipped with the tools and tech supporting the frontline.

“Propel 2026 delivered exactly what it promised, fuel for WA property professionals to streamline their systems, back their value, and elevate the entire profession,” Samantha said.

Between the high-impact sessions and the Surfin’ Safari themed dinner at a local brewery, attendees left with full notebooks and fresh motivation. If the buzz in WA offices this week is anything to go by, the industry is ready to charge ahead.
