Set on 105.1 hectares at 3009 Christmas Creek Road, Lamington, the property directly adjoins Lamington National Park.

The property is being marketed by Ray White Rural Queensland sales agents Peter Douglas and Jason Mattiazzi via expressions of interest, closing 30 October.

Mr Douglas highlighted that the property offers an irreplaceable turn-key platform just 90 minutes from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

“Nightfall isn't just a piece of land with a couple of tents; it's a decade of established goodwill, infrastructure, brand equity, and sustainable luxury in one of Queensland's most sought-after eco-tourism corridors”.

“Whether the incoming buyer chooses to build upon the existing business, explore wellness or corporate retreats, or simply enjoy 260 acres of untouched natural paradise alongside Christmas Creek, the opportunity is exceptionally rare.”

The sale includes the land, existing guest accommodation, operational infrastructure, brand assets, booking systems, and digital presence.

Co-owners Stephen Ross and Jaide Adermann first purchased the property in 2010, transitioning from Stephen’s earlier career in concreting and landscaping to pioneer a new standard in high-end eco-tourism.

What began as an old 1980s shed on a secluded parcel of land has been lovingly transformed into an intimate retreat featuring architect-inspired, custom-built safari tents.

Each 62sqm tent features king-size beds, rotating fireplaces, twin baths, and indoor/outdoor rain showers designed to offer total comfort without separating guests from nature.

Mr Ross said when he first laid eyes on the property and saw the creek he thought “this is it!”.

“The water is definitely the heart of the property - it’s crystal clear and keeps flowing even during drought,” Mr Ross said.

“Designing and building Nightfall from the ground up was a real labour of love. Over the years, people have come here to completely switch off.

“We’ve hosted so many engagements - and every single one said yes - as well as countless anniversaries and milestone birthdays.”

Prior to international travel disruptions during COVID, Nightfall attracted guests from across the globe however Mr Ross said there had been a steady flow of high-end weekenders from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and interstate.

As Mr Ross and his business partner Ms Adermann plan their retirement, they say the next owner could be a couple wanting to run it as a hands-on boutique operation, a private owner seeking an extraordinary lifestyle estate, or another tourism group looking to expand the brand.
