The three-bedroom property at 12 Unwin Crescent, Salter Point was marketed by Ray White South Perth sales agent Cristina Spinella and recently sold for a multi-million dollar price.

Ms Spinella said the sale unfolded as an extraordinary, four-generation celebration of a life well-lived, turning a simple property transition into a historic moment for one of the suburb's original pioneers.

Mrs Keesing’s story at Unwin Crescent began in 1955, when the neighbourhood was mostly dense bushland, the roads were gravel, and water was pumped from a neighbour’s bore.

Over seven decades, the home stood strong as the backdrop for a lifetime of memories, surviving multiple renovations while keeping its original, loving core intact.

As managing a large house and garden solo became impractical, Mrs Keesing decided it was time to transition to residential care at Bethanie Como, turning to her family to research an agent defined by empathy and deep local knowledge.

That search led directly to Ms Spinella, who tailored the entire journey to honour Mrs Keesing’s remarkable legacy.

Recognising the emotional weight of the sale, Ms Spinella arranged extra face-to-face meetings and facilitated a formal "signing ceremony" surrounded by Mrs Keesing’s two sons and daughters-in-law, even filming the occasion so the family could preserve the memory forever.

Ms Spinella said the property captured immediate, competitive buyer interest through a VIP launch, ultimately selling to a couple relocating from Yallingup to be closer to their daughter.

For Ms Spinella, taking care of a client born in 1924 was a once-in-a-career privilege.

“I’ve had the privilege of assisting several vendors in their 90s, but representing a 102-year-old client is certainly a first and something I’ll always remember,” she said.

“I believe experiences like this come down to empathy and taking the time to understand what matters most to each family.

“Every client and every property has a different story, and it’s important to make sure people feel supported throughout the process.”

When Ms Spinella asked Mrs Keesing what her secret to her vibrant, joyful longevity was, she quickly shared her daily ritual: two eggs on toast every morning and a glass of brandy and dry at 4.30 every afternoon.
