RAY WHITE GROUP auction numbers go from strength to strength as Spring activity continues to ramp up. There are 397 auctions across Ray White Australasia this week, with 242 being held on Saturday alone.

Stop what you are doing and check out this breath of fresh air in rural Victoria.

At 1582 Princes Highway, Rosebrook you'll find a four bedroom home on 1.41ha of green gorgeousness and has a guide price of ... I can't believe this as I type... $749,000-$799,000.

An amazing feat of horticultural determination as well as exquisite home design , this completely renovated home is close to the fishing village of Port Fairy, and near the regional centre of Warrnambool.

This superb garden property is comprised of a main residence, and also a self contained stable space - for lucky people not your actual horses.

Ray White Warnambool agent Chris Wilkins, who claims this is the sort of property that hooked him into the real estate game, has this one for auction at 12.30pm.

Of the 117 groups have been drawn to the cool and contemporary townhouse at 2/74 Woornack St Carnegie, you can bet none of them realised the place was 10 years old.

It’s been refreshed by the vendor - but it has also been immaculately maintained long term. Interestingly this three bedroom, two bathroom home with a guide of $800,000-$880,000, has appealed to a growing demographic - single parents of adult kids.

Ray White Carnegie agent and auctioneer Tom Grieve has had 25 contract requests and is feeling good about suggesting maybe five bidders will be pacing around on the deck on Saturday at 11am.

Brand, spanking new is how 11a Barney Street Drummoyne has been described. Plus, says Chris Wilkins, director of Ray White Drummoyne, it is "the best finished duplex I’ve seen".

Consequently, picky downsizers are very happy with the property and are well represented in the 100 inspections that have taken place so far.

Sounds odd that a four bedroom home is appealing to downsizers but Mr Wilkins says these are people who still value generous house space, but don’t want the hassle of large gardens.

So far 10 contracts have been issued and it’s schedule for a 10.30am auction on Saturday. Oh, you want the guide price? $2.3 million.

Erskineville went nuts last weekend with some top results, and this weekend a smaller townhouse is on the auction block.

Ray White Erskineville director Shaun Stoker says 3 Victoria Street was absolutely first home buyers territory and 98 excited groups have already been through working out where to store their bikes (rear garden) , french bulldog (ditto) and tagines (good storage space in the kitchen - so no worries there).

With a guide of $1 million Mr Stoker has a pretty tight line up of seven bidders waiting in the wings for a 2.30pm battle of the bids.

A local star property is going to be the early bird auction this weekend. During its pre-auction campaign this beautiful cavity brick, English country garden style, circa 1935 home was The Courier Mail’s House of the Week.

According to Ray White Ascot’s Oliver Jonker 17 Bayview Terrace, Clayfield occupies the highest spot on the hill so views were a real draw card, as was the proximity to great schools.

Fifty seven groups have been through the home, and it’s highly likely that by 9am some eight bidders could be chomping at the bit to tie this one up.

Unbearably pretty with massive street appeal are just two of the secrets of this beautiful home at 17 Kent Street, Red Hill.

Ray White Paddington’s Harrison Mastrapostolos reports 70 groups through so far - with a fair few amount of interest from southern buyers, some investors and some local families looking to get on board.

The sales associate calls this "the most charming home" in Red Hill and hyperbole it ain't.

Some four to five bidders are very committed to taking home the keys.

(Does this one look a bit like a close relative of the Erskineville one further up the page?)

Adelaide dwellers are proving super keen to get a foot in the door in up and coming Bowden.

With improving public transport into the CBD, and a tightly held inventory, this is a suburb on the move.

Fully renovated, with three bedrooms (custom robes!), lots of garden space with plantings already on the go, 91 Gibson Street is top of the pops with the inspection crowd.

More than 100 groups have trodden the polished real-deal timber floors as they inspect this inviting property.

Ray White Port Adelaide principal Nick Psarros is expecting a bakers dozen to be coming through the picket fence gate for a 10am start.
