A traditional colonial Queenslander in immaculate original condition is one of the hundreds of Ray White properties going under the hammer across the country this weekend.

Ray White Ascot’s Leigh Kortlang said the large unrenovated six bedroom home on a 771sq m parcel of land has been owned by the one family for more than 17 years.

“It has a huge rear deck that is almost the size of a small home,” Ms Kortlang said.

“It’s very private and classic, and once upon a time the house was a BnB so all the bedrooms are named after ladies.”

Ms Kortlang said the home had been beautifully maintained but offers room to improve if the new owners desire.

“It would’ve been a wonderful grand home in its day and it’s just a rare offering,” she said.

“It’s the perfect family home on a sizeable block of land.”

Saturday’s auction of 194 Bonney Ave, Clayfield is scheduled for 1pm.

Buyers wanting to move into a larger home are keen on a contemporary five bedroom Gold Coast residence (above) which is going to auction on Saturday morning.

“It’s a bit like a resort, with an L-shaped pool and plenty of funky features,” Ray White Sovereign Islands sales agent Sebastian Ross said.

“It’s also walking distance to shops and restaurants, and a five-minute drive to the Broadwater and Harbour Town.”

The commercial quality build of 6 Torrevella Vista, Coombabah includes full perimeter external concrete tilt panel walls, a suspended concrete slab and concrete staircase.

In Waterford, a small riverside suburb of Perth, is the afternoon auction of a contemporary family home (above) which has never been lived in.

The double-storey residence at 7 Cygnus Parade is in the award-winning Cygnia Cove Estate; 800m to Curtin University, 400m to Canning River, a three-minute drive to Waterford Plaza and only 10kms to Perth’s CBD.

“It’s an ex-display home which was bought by the owners but has never been lived in and they’ve now changed plans after holding it for two years,” Ray White South Perth’s Christy Sajan said.

“The sellers are very serious to move on and bidding will start at $999,000.”

The home has multiple shared living areas, four huge bedrooms, two well-appointed bathrooms, a powder room, state-of-the-art kitchen, larder, wet area and a fantastic outdoor entertainment space.

Also on Saturday afternoon, Ray White Balwyn director Helen Yan will auction off another beautiful Balwyn property (above).

Ms Yan said 54 Elliott Ave is scheduled to sell under the hammer with a price guide of $3 million to $3.3 million.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home is in the desirable Balwyn High School catchment area.

“It has beautiful features including high ceilings and heated flooring,” Ms Yap said.

“The location is popular because it’s close to Balwyn High and Balwyn Primary Schools, so it’s very convenient.”

Base yourself between Adelaide’s CBD and the beach with the purchase of 5 Garden St, South Plympton, which also goes under the hammer on Saturday afternoon.

“Garden Street is a private and quiet road so it doesn't receive much traffic,” Ray White Plympton’s Adam Keane said.

“This property is surrounded by good quality family homes and it’s close to the city and beach which is why the suburb is performing so well. We see it as the big mover in our patch at the moment and there are plenty of people trying to get into the area for the schools and location.”

Mr Keane said most interest in the three-bedroom, one-bathroom home (above) is coming from young professional couples looking to purchase their first family home.
