RAY White Group has 370 auctions scheduled to go under the hammer this Saturday, with the majority of those split across New South Wales and Victoria.

An old worker’s cottage (above), held by the same owner for over 60 years, is one of 124 auctions booked in across New South Wales on April 13.

The unusual looking property at 5 Paddington Lane, Paddington is being auctioned at 11.30am through Ray White Paddington’s Andrew Cary with a price guide of $1.1 million.

“The uniqueness of the property is a huge drawcard, as well as the fact that it’s been under the same ownership for over 60 years,” Mr Cary said.

“People have driven past over the years wanting to know what’s behind the wall.”

Also to keep an eye on this Saturday in Sydney, but later in the day at 4pm, is the auction of a solid brick family home (above) at 30 Salter Rd, Bossley Park.

“It’s got a good layout, on a corner block, there’s potential for a granny flat and it’s in a popular little pocket of Bossley Park with a wide street,” Ray White Wetherill Park | Cecil Hills agent Blaz Dejanovic said.

While in Narraweena, in northern Sydney, a single-level brick house on an 809sq m block (above) is going to auction at 12.30pm through Ray White Freshwater’s Jacquelynn Watson.

The home at 34 Oceana St offers buyers the opportunity to renovate, extend or rebuild into a contemporary family house or develop two properties (STCA).

To Brisbane where Ray White Wilston’s Alistair Macmillan is looking forward to a big 11am auction at 31 Agincourt St, Grange.

Auctioneer Phil Parker is calling the shots, asking for bids on the brand new home (above) which was built by a local builder who is renowned for quality outcomes.

“The owners’ inspiration for this quality constructed home was a functional layout coupled with luxuriously appointed fixtures and fittings, making it the ideal family home in an unbeatable parkland location,” Mr Macmillan said.

“This space really needs to be seen to be appreciated. It’s soaring 3.4m high ceilings, an abundance of natural light and a direct view to the pool and level rear yard, this space is unlike anything you will see in other homes.”

Owners Murray and Susie Tanner of Plumb Constructions specialise in high-end building projects and renovations.

The highest price for a house on a 607sq m block in Grange is $1.775M which was sold last August at 37 Howard St, Grange.

At 3pm, a perfect family home in one of New Farm's best-kept secret locations is going to auction through Ray White New Farm | Spring Hill’s Matt Lancashire.

The Kevin Hayes-designed residence (above), on an invaluable double-block at 6 Herbert St, is one of just six properties on the secluded cul-de-sac.

Walk to the best of Brisbane from this northeast-facing family home as it's on the doorstep of the CBD, Howard Smith Wharves, New Farm Park and James Street precinct.

Meantime, Ray White Cleveland’s Vern Jensen is taking a high-set home, with glimpses of Moreton and Stradbroke Islands, to auction at 2pm.

The brick home (above) at 14 Lark St, Birkdale has been held by the same owner for more than 25 years.

“The ratio of interest versus written offers is excellent,” Mr Jensen said.

“Generally buyer enquiry is from young families, all local people.”

On a quiet street in one of Adelaide’s top beach suburbs, a renovated property is going to auction at 11am through Ray White Grange’s Nick Beneke.

The four-bedroom house (above) at 38 Swan St, Grange comes with a self-contained studio currently being used as Airbnb accommodation.

“It’s a good size, with a self-contained studio out the back which could be used for multi-generational living or for teenagers,” Mr Beneke said.

“It’s in a really great spot too. We’re talking around 250m from the beach, on a great block with rear lane access.”

To Melbourne, where on Sunday, first-home buyers, investors and developers are expected to battle it out for 38 Agora Boulevard, Ferntree Gully.

Ray White Ferntree Gully’s Michael Nguyen is taking the neat original three-bedroom house (above) to auction at midday with a price guide of $500,000 to $550,000.

“Buyers are attracted to the property mainly because of its potential,” Mr Nguyen said.

“The owners have held the property for over 30 years.”
