FOR a domestic violence survivor, victim advocate, and innovator Lorelle Molde is surprisingly upbeat.
“It’s about turning scars into stars,” say the proud White Ribbon organiser.
Ms Molde is not one to draw focus to the physical pain of domestic violence, she is far more energised by inspiring survivors to move forward.
South Australia has benefited from her work, both public and private. Her most recent recognition was her involvement in the initiation of the White Ribbon Workplace Accreditation, and her increasing work supporting victims in the LGBTQI community.
Her resume is a crowded portfolio of amazing achievements, but she is also a wife, mother and home maker.
Ms Molde has put her large and elegant One Tree Hill home on the market, with Ray White Tree Tree Gully principal Sam Doman.
The home at 22 Burnett Drive, One Tree Hill is set in amid hillside scenery on a 2000sqm block. The five-bedroom residence, featuring a classic bull nose veranda, formal and informal living areas and classic colonial Adelaide architecture is revealed at the end of a long driveway.
An ideal home for those who wish to find peace and tranquillity, matched with contemporary conveniences such as a gourmet kitchen.
They first open for inspection was conducted this week, with agent Sam Doman saying that of the many parties through, there was one surprise attendee.
"The original owners came by, they are still in love with it - who knows, they might even buy it back," say Mr Doman.
Sam Doman has selected the home to be part of their Lucky 7s auction event, which is taking place on June 25, at 6.30pm where three outstanding homes will be offered on the one night.
