The game comes midway through the season where the Swans started off incredibly strong, winning four of their five games so far.

Ray White and the Sydney Swans have a clear call to action: help fill the stands with 6,000 fans at every game to drive growth of the AFLW competition and ensure that the season expands beyond its current 12 games.

“We’re thrilled to stand alongside the Swans AFLW team, not just as sponsors, but as passionate supporters of the women’s game,” said Bridgette Collis, Head of People for Ray White New South Wales | ACT.

“The growth of the AFLW depends on community support. If we can consistently get 6,000 fans through the gates, it will send a powerful message that the league deserves a longer season and greater investment.”

The Sydney Derby is set to be one of the highlights of the AFLW calendar, bringing together two fierce rivals and showcasing the growing passion for women’s footy in New South Wales. Henson Park, a ground steeped in history, tradition and atmosphere, is expected to come alive as the Swans and Giants battle for bragging rights in Sydney.

Ray White New South Wales | ACT has partnered with both the men's and women's Swans teams this year as it grows its visibility amongst an exponential appetite for AFL in Sydney.

Todd Alexander, Head of Marketing for the Ray White Group, said the Swans AFL and AFLW provided huge opportunities across the group to engage with a massive audience.

“Australian Rules is the most watched sport in Australia, and Ray White’s visibility within the space is symbolic of its reach with millions of vendors, buyers, tenants, landlords and open home attendees,” Mr Alexander said.

“Our tagline is ‘we bring the whole team’ and this weekend we want to encourage Swans fans to do just that - bring your family, your friends, tell your colleagues. We want you to help change the game.”

“Ray White is built on a foundation of growth, leadership, ambition and high performance, and our alliance gives us the opportunity to engage, share and learn from the best.

“The AFLW showcases some of the most elite female athletes in the country, and we will always champion high performance. We want the AFLW to get the audience and growth it deserves.”

Sydney Swans Executive General Manager – AFLW Football, Amanda Turner, said that by turning up, fans can help change the game.

“We’re calling on everyone to turn up to help drive AFLW attendance to an average of 6,000, which is the benchmark the AFL has set to expand the season,” Turner said.

“It’s fantastic to have Ray White’s support of our AFLW team and backing to help grow the AFLW competition.

“The Sydney Derby is always a great contest, with a terrific atmosphere, so we encourage fans to turn out in big numbers on Sunday.”

Ray White and the Swans are calling on families, footy fans, and the broader community to show up in force at Henson Park and throughout the season.

“Every fan counts. Every cheer matters. Together we can make AFLW bigger, stronger, and longer,” Ms Collis said.
