Choosing a holiday destination has always been difficult for company managing director Bill Pike and his wife Pam since they purchased a magnificent standalone estate at Dural in north-western Sydney a decade ago.

“It’s like a resort so it makes going on holidays very difficult,” said Mrs Pike, who has relished raising the couple’s three children on the 2.03ha, seven bedroom, seven bathroom property.

Selling agent Sandy Ward of Ray White Dural said the Pike’s home at 6 Langford Road, Dural, is located in an exclusive semi-rural enclave and offers a lifestyle beyond compare.

“This stunning luxury estate offers extraordinary dimensions specifically designed for family living along with every desirable extra,” she said.

Bill Pike is the Managing Director of the Australian arm of New York Stock Exchange-listed Brady Corporation, an international manufacturer of identification solutions and speciality materials that identify and protect premises, products and people.

Mrs Pike said she and her husband were keen gardeners who had planted most of the shrubs on the estate in a “labour of love”.

“This has been a fabulous place to live and fantastic for our children to grow up in,” said Mrs Pike, who is looking to downsize with her husband to a smaller property in the Dural area.

The massive home has an extraordinary array of features including a championship floodlit tennis court, dressage arena, 2 x stables, pool and spa, poolside pavilion with kitchen, bathroom, sauna and gymnasium.

“Any family would adore the generous accommodations, including the two bedroom apartment perfect for guests, the in-laws or au-pair,” Ms Ward said.

Gated from the street, the interior of the grand home includes an elegant lounge and library, banquet sized dining, three Cheminees Phillipe fireplaces, a billiard room, rumpus with fully equipped wet bar and a custom-crafted home cinema.

There’s also a butler's kitchen, cold room, over-sized bedrooms with walk-in robes, a huge master bedroom with soaring ceiling, dressing room and spa ensuite, a study and a children's loft retreat.

“This estate is truly in a class of its own,” Ms Ward said.

The Dural estate is being marketed for offers over $6 million.
