THE Queensland Government will offer three more properties around Beaudesert and Tabragalba, once earmarked for the former Glendower Dam project, for sale in the third stage of an open market sales program.

The first two stages saw the completed disposal sale of eleven properties at successful auctions in June and August for a total $12.327 million.

On Friday, November 23, the final three properties, comprised of two rural holdings and a lifestyle holding, will go under the hammer.

Property 12 is a 556ha holding including part of the original Dagworth Station and homestead, and Tabragalba House.

It is one of the larger rural holdings to be offered to the market at the back of the Gold Coast and is a quality farm with extensive Albert River frontage.

Property 13 is a multi-titled 146.6ha holding of rich alluvial river flats with a 54ha irrigation licence, home and outbuildings.

Property 14 is the smallest property; a fully-fenced 75ha across two titles with a home and sheds.

While each is different, they all offer wonderful views and are characterised by soft rolling river country with strong river flats and excellent water storages.

All the country is predominantly open with timber on the ridge lines of 12 and 14.

The properties are around 60kms from Southport and 70kms from Brisbane.

Ray White Rural Queensland’s Peter Douglas and Ray White Rural Beaudesert principal Ed Dalton are again managing the sale process.

“It is a very good mixture with properties in all price brackets,” Mr Douglas said.

“The location and size of the properties offer real options to buyers here. It is seldom to see such good country come on the market so close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast.”

Properties will be open for inspections on Sundays.

The auction will be held in Beaudesert at the Council Centre on Brisbane Rd at 11am on Friday, 23rd November 2018.
